There’s a wonderful array of places to eat and drink in and around Alcester

No matter whether you’re after casual place to dine or somewhere rather smarter you’re sure to find somewhere in and around Alcester that fits the bill.  Both in the town centre and in the surrounding villages, you are truly spoilt for choice.

Nearly every pub, restaurant, cafe and takeaway is either independent or one of a friendly local chain. Many take care to source their produce locally and cater for a wide range of tastes and tolerances.

The High St itself boasts no less than four superb independent cafes and an ice cream parlour all with seating Alfresco – nowhere better to pause and soak up the the all the ye olde Warwickshire-y prettiness you could want from a quintessential english high street.The Town Centre pubs, all offer something unique, gastropub to traditional watering hole, log fire to glorious garden, live music to gentle chatter, Alcester has it all.If you are looking for cuisine from other areas of the world, we have that covered too, both eat-in and take-away, there really is something for everyone.

The surrounding villages are home to some superb Farm Shop Cafes, Traditional Country Pubs and Gastro Pubs. Most boast delightful gardens and dining alfresco in Summer and cosy log fires in Winter.

Alcester Food Festival

If visiting in May or October be sure to join us for “Great food, Great drink and a Great time” !!! This now famous events attracts thousands of visitors and takes place in the historic and attractive town of Alcester, filling the High Street, Church Street and Henley Street with a wide range of fabulous food and drink much of which is locally produced.
